The aim of the project is to collect Voices of the Indigenous Peoples of the North who traditionally have a close relationship with caribou (called wild reindeer in Eurasia) and communicate those voices to other communities, scientists and the general public. The project is conducted as part of the International Polar Year (2007-2009) CARMA research on caribou and people.
